We’re having a killer beginning to the fall season so far this year!
If you haven’t made it out yet this fall, there is still time and you’re not going to want to miss out! We still have September and October to catch Kings and Coho salmon! Some of the best fishing of the year is coming up, we will be doing some Trolling with spinners and Hover fishing with eggs for the kings.
Then as we get later into the season we will be using Twitching jigs for coho. There is A LOT of fish this year.
I will be fishing in the Beautiful Columbia River Gorge just below Bonneville dam,or above near hood river, the mouth of the Klickitat River, mouth of wind river and Drano lake. I use the wind forecast and the fishing reports to determine where we will fish. These are amazing trips and almost always “hands on fishing”. You hold the rod and you set the hook! I use the highest quality rods and reels that money can buy that are super sensitive so you can feel even the lightest of bites!
